Yoki Legacy Revitalizes Collecting with Japanese Folklore and ASTR Integration

Yoki Legacy returns to the Soneium ecosystem, offering a new wave of excitement with enhanced gameplay and ASTR token integration, building on the success of Yoki Origins.

Yoki Legacy, the massively hyped Web3 game on Astar, is getting a reboot and joining the Soneium ecosystem in a new installment dubbed Yoki Legacy. The game, which is a continuation of last year’s Yoki Origins, is quickly becoming a favorite among Web3 users for its unique take on Japanese folklore and collectibles.

Yoki Origins was first launched in March of last year and quickly gained attention for its playful take on Japanese folklore and mythology. Within its first year, Yoki has generated millions of on-chain transactions on Astar, a testament to its popularity.

Yoki Legacy is set to launch on April 25th in the Soneium ecosystem. The game will feature new and improved gameplay mechanics, as well as a more engaging user experience.

The game is focused on streamlined play and engaging users in minimal steps for maximal fun. It will also feature the direct integration of the ASTR token, which is used for the ecosystem’s native token.

This integration is a key part of the new installment, which aims to provide more utility for the ASTR token and to enhance the overall gaming experience.

What’s New in Yoki Legacy?

The new installment will still feature the cute and collectible characters that are a core driver of interest in the character industry.

Players will be able to mint capsules using OMASTR tokens, each capsule containing a Basic Yoki. To complete a Notebook collection, players will need to collect all 12 different capsules.

Furthermore, players can fuse three identical Basic Yokis to create an Evolved Yoki.

Yoki Legacy will also feature several events and challenges throughout the year, including collaborations with the Astar Contribution Score (ACS) campaign.

Players can earn rewards by holding specific Yokis, completing Notebooks, and engaging in seasonal challenges. The allocated ACS points will be converted into ASTR tokens, providing another incentive for players to participate.

The new season of Yoki will be structured across four distinct phases, each offering unique opportunities for players.

Those who complete their Notebooks by June 1st will receive an exclusive OG badge, adding another collectible aspect to the game.
