VirtualBacon Eyes XRP Buy If Bitcoin (BTC) Pair Drops 20–23%, Entering Value Zone Soon

XRP, one of the most talked-about altcoins in crypto history, may finally be catching the attention of some seasoned traders

Prominent crypto analyst VirtualBacon, known for his technical insights and market observations, shared that he might finally be buying XRP, a move that's surprising given his usual focus on other coins.

As he shared in a recent thread, VirtualBacon has never held XRP in his portfolio despite its presence in the market for a decade. However, he explained that he's keeping an eye on a key signal that could lead him to finally add it to his portfolio.

"I'll buy XRP when this happens 👁️‍🗨️ I've never held XRP. But that might be about to change. One key signal is setting up and if it triggers in the next 3-6 months, I'll finally add XRP to my portfolio."

Explaining his interest in the coin, VirtualBacon pointed out that he's never seen a "clean" setup for XRP in the last two years.

"I'm not interested in the dollar price. I'm looking at the BTC pair and I'm waiting for the price to reach the value zone after a 20-23% decline from the 0.000022 BTC support."

This value zone, he clarified, lies between 0.000017 and 0.000019 BTC, which at the current price of Bitcoin would translate to roughly $1.54-1.71. However, considering the price of Bitcoin tends to fluctuate, the final price at which VirtualBacon plans to buy XRP would be around $1.80.

Highlighting the importance of this signal, VirtualBacon noted that if this level breaks and XRP drops another 20-23%, it will enter what he calls the "value zone."

"This is the cleanest XRP setup I've seen in 2 years. I'm not rushing anything. I'm preparing in advance and I'll be ready to act when the signal is clear."

Moreover, VirtualBacon observed that if XRP does manage to breakout from here, it could also mark a comeback for some of the older coins which have been largely left behind in recent years.

"If this plays out as expected, it could also lead to a return for some of the older coins that have been left in the dust like ADA, XLM, HBAR, ATOM and XDC. Unlike ETH and SOL, which have gained mindshare with institutions and retail respectively, XRP has always had massive FOMO potential."
