In a turbulent week for the cryptocurrency market, digital assets continue to grapple with downward pressure. The past seven days have seen a broad decline across major cryptocurrencies, underscoring the sector's ongoing volatility.

A turbulent week unfolded in the cryptocurrency market as digital assets continued to face downward pressure. Over the past seven days, most major cryptocurrencies experienced significant declines, highlighting the sector’s ongoing volatility.
Top Cryptos Take a Hit, Except AVAX
Throughout the last week, most leading cryptocurrencies faced declines. While nearly all top cryptocurrencies were up at this time last week and still closed the week in the green, the recent downturn was still notable. The exception to this trend was Avalanche (AVAX), which managed to secure a modest gain of 2.3%, standing out in a generally bleak market.
On the other hand, Toncoin (TON) faced the steepest decline, plummeting by 11.9%. Ethereum (ETH) followed closely with a 7.3% decrease, while Bitcoin (BTC) and Ripple (XRP) saw reductions of 6.2% and 5.4%, respectively.
Other notable decliners include Dogecoin (DOGE), down by 3.8%, Binance Coin (BNB) with a 3.6% drop, and TRON (TRX) at 3.2%. Solana (SOL) and Cardano (ADA) also faced declines of 1.6% and 1%, respectively.
The persistent downward trend highlights the ongoing challenges within the cryptocurrency market, reflecting broader uncertainty and market dynamics that influence investor sentiment and asset performance.
