Spring has sprung in the Northern hemisphere, and so has a new dig event in Monopoly Go as we round into Easter weekend. Join Sofia on an adorably pastel board between 1PM EST on April 17 and 4PM EST on April 21 to hunt for prizes together!

Not only do we have thousands of free dice rolls on the line in this springtime Monopoly Go event, you'll find plenty of new cosmetic pieces as well. Help Sofia hunt for treasures, and you might just unearth springtime surprises like new board tokens and shield skins that feel oh-so fresh this season.

How To Play Spring Treasures

Collect Shovels To Dig

As with most of the treasure hunt events in Monopoly Go, you can't begin helping Sofia find all her Springtime Treasures without first earning tokens from other events in the game throughout the course of the weekend, and we've got plenty of ways to do so! To earn free Spring Treasures tokens, you should consider:

Tokens in hand, click onto the Spring Treasures menu on the right side of the screen to begin hunting.

Clear Tiles To Unearth Every Hidden Treasure

Spread out across 20 levels total, Sofia is here this Easter weekend to help us dig through colorful pastel grids in search of Easter-themed items hidden beneath the dirt on each level. You can see the silhouette of them at the top of your screen, so acquaint yourself with which pieces are which size, since this can help inform which tiles you may want to try clearing next.

Each tile you clear costs one shovel token, and you'll clear tiles on each level until you've completely uncovered every artifact hidden within. When this happens, you'll be given the prize for that level and then whisked off to the next to continue the search for more Spring Treasures.

You'll occasionally come across more elaborate tiles that need more than one shovel to clear, so you may want to clear easier-to-remove tiles beside these ones before committing to the picks needed to clear it - who knows if something is even under there yet, and why waste shovels until you do?

Use the size of the grids and the barrier obstacles between the digging spots to inform your guess on which tiles to clear out next, and keep going until you've gotten them all. The levels get bigger and more convoluted as you progress, but that's also where the best Spring Treasures prizes are waiting!

If you're into cosmetic prizes in Monopoly Go, you'll be excited to know that we've got a new shield skin of a springtime birdhouse at level 13, followed by a new board token of a fun mushroom hedgehog at level 18. Finally, the grand prize at level 20 includes but isn't limited to a new Wild Sticker, allowing you to choose any sticker to get for free as soon as you finish Spring Treasures.
