Solana (SOL) meme coins are in the spotlight today as they outperformed the broader crypto market with massive gains and spiked activity on the PumpFun meme coin launchpad to two-month highs.

Solana meme coins surged 32% in the last 24 hours to reach a total market cap of $12.46 billion, as the majority of these coins clocked double-digit percentage gains by press time. All of the top ten Solana meme coins were also trading in the green.

The interest in Solana meme coins also spiked activity on the PumpFun launchpad, with the trading platform clocking $168M in volume in the last 24 hours—the highest since mid-February 25.

As the SOL meme coin frenzy continues, three coins stood out with high trading volumes and rising leverage. These were Moo Deng (MOODENG), Bonk Coin (BONK), and Fartcoin (FARTCOIN), which also performed exceptionally well in April 2025.

MOODENG price soared 150% with the meme coin now trading at a three-month high of $0.126. The steep uptrend followed a massive surge in buying activity, as depicted by the volume histogram bars and the RSI that hit an overbought zone of 88.

While this signaled a potential reversal, the increased risk appetite in the crypto industry may fuel more gains for this Solana meme coin.

The interest in the meme coin also spiked activity on the PumpFun launchpad, with the trading platform clocking $168M in volume in the last 24 hours—the highest since mid-February 25.

On the other hand, BONK, a top meme coin on the Solana ecosystem, also displayed promising signs with a 20% increase in 24 hours to reach $0.0000219. Its 24-hour trading volume had risen by over 300% to nearly $1 billion.

A breakout from an ascending parallel channel occurred, and bulls were aiming for the nearest resistance level at $0.000026. Breaking this resistance could lead to a rally to the 2025 high of $0.000039. The ADX line supported this bullish BONK price prediction as it moved north, indicating an increase in the uptrend's strength.

Among the top gainers in April 2025, FARTCOIN showed potential to continue the rally with 23% gains in the last 24 hours and an intradaily high of $1.38. This made it one of the best-performing meme coins on Solana. According to data from Coinglass, FARTCOIN's open interest had reached an all-time high of $645 million.

As Coingape reported earlier, FARTCOIN price may extend the rally and follow Solana's recent gains, and may clinch new highs if SOL can cross above $200.
