The application enables users to verify transaction details by including metadata in transaction signatures. For devices with limited RAM, the application can still function by utilizing a Merkle tree to reduce the metadata size.
The application was developed in collaboration with Zondax, a research and development crypto company, and Parity Technologies, a software and blockchain company based in London.
Recent Developments for Polkadot
This announcement is part of a series of developments made by Polkadot. The blockchain protocol has also unveiled new partnerships and collaborations with several crypto platforms.
As reported by CryptoMode, the protocol recently integrated Spacewalk, enabling stablecoins on the Stellar Network (XLM) to be utilized within the Polkadot ecosystem, including its sister chain Kusama.
In May, the protocol achieved a significant milestone by announcing that over 55.68% of its DOT token is staked on the network, indicating growing confidence among investors in the project's future.
