Mind Network, a pioneering Fully Homomorphic Encryption (FHE) infrastructure platform, has announced a new project

Mind Network, a prominent infrastructure platform in the blockchain space, has announced a new project to enhance cross-chain $USDC transfers in partnership with Circle and Chainlink. The collaboration includes the creation of the earliest encrypted layer for $USDC transfers across chains while leveraging Fully Homomorphic Encryption (FHE). The platform disclosed this initiative in a recent X post.
The integration of Mind Network’s FHE technology with the Cross-Chain Transfer Protocol (CCTP) enables privacy-preserving, compliant, and encrypted $USDC transactions across diverse blockchains without requiring any adjustments to the present CCTP infrastructure. With the unique FHE-based encryption, Mind Network permits institutions and consumers to carry out $USDC transactions between different ecosystems such as Arbitrum, Polygon, and Ethereum, while keeping the sensitive transfer data, including token amounts and wallet addresses, completely confidential.
A key aspect of this initiative is the integration with Chainlink’s CCIP, which serves as CCTP’s core transport layer, handling the relay of burning and minting instructions of $USDC between blockchains. The FHE overlay from Mind Network effectively encrypts these instructions without making changes in the canonical logic of the protocol. This allows CCTP to operate normally while blurring transfer-level metadata from public view.
This endeavor is particularly important for developers and institutions. By combining FHE and Zero-Knowledge Proofs, Mind Network provides tools to enable compliant privacy, leading to verifiable transactions that meet regulatory standards without revealing private details. Moreover, institutions can configure the system for selective disclosure in accordance with specific audit or legal conditions, maintaining both confidentiality and transparency.
The noteworthy use cases of the unique encrypted $USDC transfer layer include confidential DeFi transfers, institutional treasury activities, and ZKP-based compliance, programmable disclosures of privacy, stealth addressing, and the settlement of real-world assets across chains. Currently, the encrypted bridge of Mind Network is operational on Polygon, Arbitrum, and Ethereum, with support for more chains in the future as CCIP expands.
