Kaspa (KAS) Could 100x? New Metrics and Crescendo Upgrade Signal Massive Potential
Apr 17, 2025 at 05:33 pm
Kaspa (KAS) is quickly becoming one of the most talked-about cryptocurrencies in the market. It's gaining attention for its fast technology, low fees, and strong community.
Kaspa (KAS) is quickly becoming one of the most talked-about coins in crypto for its fast technology, low fees, and strong community. Some people, like crypto poster @Lovrincrypto, think KAS price could even grow 100x in the bull run.
Lovrin shared a detailed post explaining why he’s so bullish on KAS. He says Kaspa is different from most other coins because it doesn’t use a traditional blockchain. Instead, it’s built on something called BlockDAG—a type of system that allows it to process many blocks at the same time. This helps it avoid the slowdowns and high fees that affect other projects like Ethereum and Bitcoin.
Kaspa is also extremely fast. It confirms transactions in less than a second and they cost only pennies to use, making it ideal for sending money or using decentralized finance (DeFi) apps. And even though it’s fast, it still uses Proof of Work for security, just like Bitcoin.
Why $KAS is my top altcoin pick for the next bull run! Speed, scalability, and fundamentals that scream 100x. Degens, let's unpack why KASPA's ready to moon! 🧵 👇 What's $KAS? KASPA's a Layer-1 using DAG tech, not a standard blockchain. Built for speed and scale without compromising security. It's like a hydra-headed beast—attack one head (chain), and another emerges. This allows KAS to massively outperform blockchains in throughput, handling 1k+ transactions per second compared to the usual 3-7 on busy chains. At present, KAS boasts average block times of 1.1 seconds and transaction fees of $0.02. But don't be fooled by the low market cap. It's already clocked an all-time high of 6k transactions per second. For perspective, Solana struggles to hit 5k TPS, and that's during peak performance. This speed translates into real-world use cases. We're not talking about dreams of Web3; people are already building and deploying DeFi protocols on KAS. In fact, there are several DEXs live on the network now, showcasing the ecosystem's growth. But it doesn't stop there. Kaspa also has a fast-growing gaming scene, with several community-developed games already available. This isn't surprising given the low transaction costs and speed, making it perfect for developing engaging game experiences. But the best part? Despite all this activity, Kaspa remains incredibly secure, utilizing Bitcoin-like Proof of Work for optimal protection against any malicious activity. It's a stark contrast to Solana's recent woes with spam and downtime, showcasing the robustness of Kaspa's design. So yeah, Kaspa is clocking higher TPS than Solana, boasts a vibrant DeFi and gaming scene, all while maintaining optimal security. No wonder they're planning to migrate to Kaspa! Finally, Kaspa's community is passionate and engaged, constantly striving to improve the ecosystem. It's a stark contrast to the "shill and dump" mentality often seen in other coins. Here, people genuinely care about Kaspa's success and contribute to its development. It's this community spirit that will drive Kaspa to even greater heights in the future. With its unique technology, passionate community, and promising use cases, Kaspa has the potential to go 10x or even 100x from here. It's an opportunity that shouldn't be missed, especially as major exchanges are now listing the token and more people are discovering its advantages. So join the Kaspa revolution today! Together, let's witness the incredible journey of this coin as it climbs to new all-time highs.
Kaspa Price Set for Big Changes After Crescendo Upgrade
One of the biggest events coming up for Kaspa is the Crescendo upgrade, which is expected to go live on May 5, 2025. This upgrade will make the network much faster and more powerful.
Right now, Kaspa produces about one block per second. After the upgrade, it will create ten blocks per second. That means transactions will be confirmed even faster, and the network will be able to handle a lot more traffic without slowing down.
The best part is that this major improvement doesn’t hurt the network’s security or decentralization. That’s because Kaspa’s unique BlockDAG structure can support this upgrade without breaking the system.
According to the official @KaspaCurrency account, nearly half of the network’s nodes and over a third of miners have already upgraded their systems. With a few weeks still to go before the big day, the network looks on track to be fully ready by the activation date.
Crescendo v1.0.0 Upgrading Report ~19 days left until the Crescendo HF.Node agent count = 45.41% Mining share =
