In a recent BitPinas webcast, web3 thought leaders Eliezer Rabadon of DvCode and Jopet Arias of TLYR Collective discussed the implications of traditional bank UnionBank (UB) introducing cryptocurrency offerings.
Both Rabadon and Arias, who are UnionBank users themselves, mentioned that they immediately checked their mobile banking apps for the crypto feature after reading the news on BitPinas.
Although they still don’t have the feature yet, they expressed optimism about its future integration. Rabadon even expressed his hopes that it will eventually be accessible for corporate accounts.
