Global Poker Rings in the Holidays With Michael Phelps and the 'Unfold the Present' Tournament Series

This December, Global Poker is celebrating the holiday season the only way they know how, by giving back to the poker community.

Global Poker is celebrating the holiday season with a month-long promotion that will culminate in a GC 200,000,000 and SC 500,000 guaranteed finals on Dec. 26.

The promotion, which began on Dec. 1, will feature numerous ways to win free coins, tournament entries, and other exciting prizes. There will be something for everyone, whether you prefer tournaments, sit-n-go’s, or ring games.

To aid in the festivities, Global Poker has called upon poker fan and real-life shark Michael Phelps, who just happens to also be the most decorated Olympian of all time. Phelps, who was added to the Global Poker ambassador team in 2023, was eager to join forces with a leader in the online social poker space.

“I’m thrilled to expand my partnership with Global Poker,” said Phelps. “As someone who loves competition and strategy, I have always really enjoyed the game of poker, and I’m excited to bring new experiences to the Global Poker community.”

The promotion will culminate in a special edition tournament called “Unfold The Present.” This tournament will feature numerous qualifiers throughout the month, and these stage 1 tournaments will award one in every seven players an automatic entry to the finals, where they will be guaranteed to be ‘in the prizes.’

Qualifiers will compete for their share of 200,000,000 Gold Coins or 500,000 Sweeps Coins guaranteed prize pools. Half of the prize pool will be awarded via mystery bounty.

There is no way to get into the finals without qualifying, you must enter via stage 1, which has a tournament entry of GC 99,000 or SC 99. Players may enter as many stage 1 tournaments as they’d like, but can only qualify for the finals once.
