The latter half of 2024 has not been kind to Ethereum. The Ethereum price briefly touched $4k in March before tumbling below $2,500.

Bitcoin may be the undisputed king of cryptocurrencies, but Ethereum is surely the Crown Prince. While Bitcoin is known for its scarcity and role as a store of value, Ethereum is a programmable blockchain that allows developers to build decentralized applications (dApps) and smart contracts. It's this capability that has made Ethereum the go-to platform for launching new altcoins, typically released as ERC20 tokens.
Having said that, there's no denying that Ethereum's growth seems to have slowed down—at least as much as a crypto can. But while some may be losing patience, others are using this time to prepare for the next altcoin season. And with predictions that the Ethereum price will double in value before Q1 2025 is out, who can blame them? Although if you're looking for ‘mere’ doublings, you might want to look away from Ethereum and towards the new altcoin Lunex Network (LNEX), which is set to explode 500x—but let's compare the two.
While the latter half of 2024 has not been particularly kind to Ethereum, briefly touching $4k in March before tumbling to below $2,500, many Ethereum pundits were left less than satisfied with the token's performance throughout the year. However, as always, the lower prices were a blessing in disguise for savvy investors, who used the dip to accumulate.
There's a reason why Ethereum is the second-ranked token, and it isn't going anywhere—the low Ethereum price right now is not indicative of its inherent value but rather a response to the larger macroeconomic concerns.
However, once geopolitical tensions settle, the American election jitters are over, and the Fed rate cut is confirmed, the crypto market will normalize and the Ethereum price will begin rising again. According to Coincodex, the Ethereum price is set to reach a new ATH by March 2025, doubling by April, and reaching above $7k by September next year.
This makes for an excellent prospect, although some ERC20 Tokens can do even better.
Lunex Network (LNEX): New ERC20 Token to Change the Face of Crypto Exchanges
When it comes to crypto investments, everyone's looking for the biggest growth possible. While established tokens like Ethereum will provide stability and growth beyond anything traditional markets can offer, even a doubling can seem slow in comparison with what crypto has produced in the past.
The new ERC20 token LNEX, the governance token of the Lunex Network crypto exchange, is ready for blast-off, and analysts predict it can reach 500x.
Sound far-fetched? Well, history provides evidence that these magnificent gains are not just possible but probable. For starters, Lunex Network is currently in presale. Several of the highest-grossing tokens ever had their beginnings in presales and spiked 100x, or some even 1000x, once the presale ended and the tokens were listed on the open markets.
Secondly, just look at the precedent set by BNB. Priced at 50 cents in 2017, by May 2025, BNB spiked by 1300x to over $650.
Well, Lunex Network is following the same trajectory. As a new hybridized CEX/DEX crypto exchange, Lunex Network is set to disrupt the established players like Binance by giving users the best of all worlds - the stability and tools of a centralized exchange combined with the versatility and ease of a decentralized one.
As an ERC20 token, Lunex Network has the rock-solid backing of the Ethereum chain, with transparency in token distribution, governance participation and its smart contract providing peace of mind to all parties.
The LNEX governance token is now available at $0.0012 during the first stage of presale, giving the early adopters the best opportunity at incredible 500x returns.
