Trump's pro-crypto policies, SEC shake-up, and creation of a U.S. crypto reserve have sparked controversy and ethics investigations.

Eric Trump, son of President Donald Trump, confirmed at the TOKEN2049 event in Dubai that both he and the president hold “a lot of Bitcoin (BTC) personally.”
“We’re a big fan of Bitcoin, we’ve been following it for a long time, and we think it’s going much higher. We’re bullish on Bitcoin’s long-term potential, and we’re personally invested in it.”
While he didn’t provide exact figures or the total amount of BTC they own, Eric’s statement highlights the significant interest the Trump family has in crypto.
Earlier this year, President Trump appointed Paul Atkins as the new Chair of the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).
