Crypto Trader's Bold Prediction: Solana's SOL to Hit $200 This Week
Jun 04, 2024 at 06:10 am
Crypto trader That Martini Guy has predicted that Solana (SOL) will surge to $200 this week. This bullish outlook comes amid Solana's sideways movement

Solana (SOL) price is preparing for a crucial move next week, according to pseudonymous crypto trader That Martini Guy. His tweet on Monday, predicting that SOL will hit $200 this week, has sparked discussions in the crypto community.
After a significant downturn in the first half of 2023, Solana has been trading sideways, showing some recovery from its lows around $161 on May 26. Now, as the dust settles and traders anticipate the next directional move, That Martini Guy’s bold prediction might align with some technical analysts' perspectives.
However, the path to $200 is not without obstacles. As we can see from the recent price action, Solana has been trading above the $161 mark since its decline. More Crypto Online’s analysis emphasizes the importance of identifying reliable patterns within this range.
One pattern that stands out is the double bottom, which is often observed in technical analysis. While double bottoms can sometimes lead to substantial breakouts, it's crucial to note that such formations often result in temporary bounces rather than the large moves that traders might anticipate.
Two primary scenarios are being considered in this analysis. The “Yellow Count” suggests a B-wave rally that peaked around $189, followed by a potential C-wave decline. In this scenario, key support levels include $147, $137, and $119. If the price breaks below $147, it increases the likelihood of further decline.
On the other hand, the “Orange Count” predicts an extended B-wave rally, which could propel Solana above $200. This scenario involves a different wave structure, favoring an ABC pattern over the less reliable WXY pattern.
The current price movement is also described as ambiguous, reflecting a sideways range since late May. The analysis discusses the potential end of the B-wave pullback within the third wave, highlighting a support region between $167.50 and $147.80.
Recent movements are corrective, suggesting that a significant decline is unlikely unless the price breaks below $161. However, if this level fails to hold, we might expect further downside continuation in wave C of B.
As we zoom out and glance at the daily time frame, a double bottom pattern also emerges, presenting an opportunity for a dead cat bounce, which could align with the B-wave pullback.
Overall, while That Martini Guy’s prediction and some technical analysis point towards a potential upswing in Solana, ultimately, the trend's continuation depends on how price action unfolds at key support levels. Keep an eye out for further updates and analysis.
