Crypto Expert Predicts Bitcoin's Soaring Ascent to Six Figures

May 05, 2024 at 10:30 pm

A popular crypto expert predicts Bitcoin will enter a bull market, referencing its 2020-2021 cycle. Using Elliott Wave Theory, he suggests a surge to $90,000-$100,000 later this year. The analyst also notes a cooling-off period in Bitcoin's RSI, indicating another significant upward move.

Crypto Analyst Predicts Bitcoin's Ascent to Six Figures, Drawing Parallels with Previous Cycle

Renowned crypto analyst TechDev has unveiled a bold price target for Bitcoin, projecting a surge to near $100,000 later this year. His analysis hinges on the notion that Bitcoin is mirroring its previous market cycle, a pattern discerned through the lens of Elliott Wave theory.

TechDev, who boasts a substantial following of 448,000 on X, posits that Bitcoin is embarking on a final bullish wave, poised to propel the cryptocurrency towards the elusive six-figure mark. This surge, he contends, is corroborated by Bitcoin's current market structure and technical indicators.

Elliott Wave theory, widely employed in financial analysis, proposes that assets tend to move through distinct waves within a broader trend. TechDev's analysis suggests that Bitcoin is on the precipice of its fifth and final bullish wave, which has historically been associated with significant price appreciation.

Furthermore, TechDev scrutinizes Bitcoin's relative strength index (RSI), a momentum indicator frequently used to gauge the strength of a trend. He highlights that the RSI has recently cooled off, signaling the potential for a substantial upward move.

TechDev draws inspiration from Bitcoin's historical performance, noting a striking resemblance to the late 2020 rally. During that period, Bitcoin soared from roughly $13,000 to over $29,000 in a mere two months. The analyst predicts a similar trajectory for the coming months, with Bitcoin poised to rally by over 120%.

"Bitcoin's two-month candle is right on the candle body high, soon after max compression," TechDev observed. "As RSI (relative strength index) is about to break 70, these have been the conditions which led to the last three parabolic accelerations. I suspect this next two-month candle will be as tall as November 2020."

At the time of writing, Bitcoin is trading at $63,330, hovering near its all-time high. TechDev's analysis, if accurate, portends a remarkable upward trajectory for Bitcoin, potentially reaching the highly anticipated $100,000 mark or even surpassing it.
