With the success of the first-generation CMF Phone 1, which received a good market response for its beautiful looks and affordable price tag, much is expected from this second-generation phone.

Nothing's sub-brand CMF is all set to launch the CMF Phone 2 Pro in the afternoon today. Following the success of the first-generation CMF Phone 1, which gained attention for its aesthetic appeal and competitive pricing, there are high hopes for this second-generation iteration. Can CMF once again strike the perfect balance between performance and affordability? The launch event will soon reveal the answer.
Ahead of the official announcement, here is a comprehensive summary of the confirmed details about the CMF Phone 2 Pro.
Main Improvements from CMF Phone 1
The CMF Phone 2 Pro will be powered by the new MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Pro processor, an upgrade from the Dimensity 7300 in the original CMF Phone 1. The phone will arrive with Android 15, layered with Nothing OS 3.1, the same software found on the latest Nothing 3a and 3a Pro devices.
The new Phone 2 Pro will house a 5,000mAh battery with 50W fast charging support — not a substantial increase in battery capacity. However, the main highlight is the triple camera system in the Phone 2 Pro, comprising a 50MP telephoto camera and an ultra-wide snapper, a significant improvement over the previous generation's camera.
The CMF Phone 2 Pro will sport a 6.77-inch AMOLED screen with a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. The phone will also feature the Essential Key, initially introduced in the Nothing 3a and 3a Pro, with enhanced functionality and customization options.
Key Design Changes
CMF is also introducing a new design element to set the phone apart. The rear panel of the CMF Phone 2 Pro will showcase a gradient brightness effect, gradually dimming towards the bottom. The white color variant will transition from white at the top to silver at the bottom, while the orange model will also darken gradually.
