BNB Chain Launches Gas-Free Carnival to Eliminate Transaction Fees for Stablecoin Transfers

The BNB Chain Gas-Free Carnival aims to eliminate transaction fees for stablecoin transfers on the network.

Those transferring stablecoins can enjoy zero-fee withdrawals from major crypto exchanges to Binance Smart Chain (BSC) and Optimistic BNB Chain (opBNB).

The initiative is part of a wider effort by BNB Chain to streamline movement of assets and boost activity on the network.

As part of the Gas-Free Carnival campaign, users can withdraw stablecoins from several centralized exchanges (CEXs) to BSC or opBNB without paying any withdrawal fees.

The initiative is a joint effort by BNB Chain and several leading cryptocurrency exchanges, including Binance, Bitget, and MEXC.

CEX users can now withdraw stablecoins for free to BSC and opBNB. Partners like Binance, Bitget, and MEXC are applying a special rate on their standard withdrawal fees for the campaign period.

For example, Binance members are able to withdraw USDT, USDC, or FDUSD in amounts higher than $20 per transaction to BSC or opBNB absolutely free. Other trading platforms, such as MEXC and Bitget, have a much lower requirement at a minimum deposit of $10.

Those transferring smaller amounts may still be subject to a small fee, which will vary depending on the exchange.

Here are some examples of the minimum withdrawal requirements from each CEX:

* Binance: Minimum withdrawal amount: $20

* Bitget: Minimum withdrawal amount: $10

* MEXC: Minimum withdrawal amount: $10

It is important to note that the minimum withdrawal requirements may apply to transfers from one user’s account at the CEX to another user’s account on either BSC or opBNB.

If transferring from one chain to another, there may be additional stipulations.

Also, those transferring from their CEX account to their own personal web3 wallet will still be liable for the gas fees to withdraw from the exchange.

Applicants are advised to verify particular details with each CEX before withdrawing.

BNB Chain Supports Gas-Free Stablecoin Transfers Between Top Wallets

As part of the Gas-Free Carnival initiative, BNB Chain is also financially supporting several leading Web3 wallets to facilitate no-cost stablecoin transfers.

The initiative is part of a wider effort by BNB Chain to reduce the cost of using Web3 and make it more accessible to a wider range of people.

In addition to the zero-fee stablecoin withdrawals from major crypto exchanges, BNB Chain is also supporting several leading Web3 wallets to facilitate no-cost stablecoin transfers.

Projects such as Trust Wallet, SafePal, UXUY Wallet, Bitget Wallet, Coin98, and more are involved in the initiative.

Those transferring directly from one wallet to another will be able to do so gas-free, up to twice per user, per stablecoin, per day. The offer applies to the following major stablecoins:

* Tether (USDT)

* USD Coin (USDC)

* Frax (FRAX)

* TrueUSD (TUSD)

* FDUSD

Such a wide network of wallet support makes it significantly easier for users to move funds without worrying about accumulating gas costs.
