BlackRock Ethereum ETF Setting the Pace

The BlackRock iShares Ethereum Trust (ETHA) has continued outperforming its peers after recording a 14-day inflow streak.

BlackRock Ethereum ETF Setting the Pace

The BlackRock iShares Ethereum Trust (ETHA) has recorded 14 consecutive days of inflows, outperforming its peers in the Ethereum exchange-traded fund (ETF) market.

According to data from Farside Investors, ETHA recorded an inflow of $81.9 million on Dec. 18, bringing its total inflow to $3.446 billion.

This outpaces the inflows into other Ethereum ETF products, including those from State Street Global Advisors and Invesco.

Among the broad range of crypto ETF products that BlackRock offers, its performance has consistently outshone that of its competitors. Following the approval of Ethereum ETF products by the United States Securities and Exchange Commission, Fidelity appeared to take the lead in inflows relative to BlackRock.

However, the tide has shifted over the past two weeks. Both BlackRock and Fidelity's FETH recorded inflows until the latter experienced a shift with no flow at all on Dec. 18.

Despite the inflows, the total inflows into Fidelity’s FETH stand at $1.386 billion, lagging behind BlackRock's ETHA.

BlackRock has played a significant role in propping up the Ethereum ETF market at a time when expectations for the coin have begun to soar despite the volatility of the market.

These inflows are considered positive for Ethereum, as they may contribute to an increase in the coin's price over the long term.

While the inflows have not yet had a substantial impact on sustaining price growth over the past week, there are projections of an imminent recovery in Ethereum's price moving forward.
