Bitcoin (BTC) Might Target $62,000-$63,000 Range, Altcoins to the Moon?

A popular crypto analyst has shared his short-term outlook for Bitcoin and a select group of altcoins, predicting two phases of altcoin rally and highlighting several coins that may outperform BTC in the coming weeks.

In his recent appearance on Crypto Banter’s The Sniper Trading Show, the analyst discussed a potential Bitcoin price range of $62,000 to $63,000, with any break above $62,000 likely to push the coin towards $65,000. He also mentioned the possibility of Bitcoin retesting recent lows, potentially dropping to the $56,000-$57,000 range before bouncing back.

The analyst noted favorable conditions for altcoins, with many coins oversold against Bitcoin, especially during the recent pullback. While Bitcoin’s performance was the primary driver of these movements, altcoins showed resilience, breaking their short-term trends. This suggests a bullish outlook for the next few days, though longer-term trends will depend on where Bitcoin closes the week.

According to the analyst, altcoins may experience minor pullbacks, but the broader narrative remains bullish, with further gains expected soon. He explained that Bitcoin dominance losing support at key levels indicates a possible continued drop, which usually favors altcoin performance. However, if dominance and other indicators turn bearish, altcoins might revisit their prices from four weeks ago.

The analyst then highlighted some top-performing altcoins like Injective (INJ), Chainlink (LINK), Solana (SOL), Cardano (ADA), and NEAR Protocol (NEAR) in relation to Bitcoin. He mentioned that many altcoins, including INJ and LINK, show signs of recovery after being oversold against BTC, which could lead to them outperforming Bitcoin in the coming weeks. He also brought to attention strong performers like SOL, which is forming a bullish weekly candle.

Finally, regarding the market outlook, the analyst predicted two phases for altcoins: an ongoing strong rally until September, followed by a potential Bitcoin surge towards all-time highs. He also mentioned strong sentiment towards Ethereum, particularly in ETH pairings, citing Theta (THETA) as an example of a coin that stood out with a bullish setup.
