Bitcoin (BTC) to reach 200,000 dollars by the end of 2025: Standard Chartered

The prospect of a bitcoin reaching 200,000 dollars by the end of 2025 raises eyebrows. Standard Chartered asserts this trajectory.

Bitcoin (BTC) to reach 200,000 dollars by the end of 2025: Standard Chartered

Standard Chartered is known for its bold predictions, and this time, the bank is betting big on bitcoin.

According to the bank’s analysis, bitcoin could reach an astounding 200,000 dollars by the end of 2025. This trajectory is based on various indicators, including yields, ETF flows, and whale movements, all of which point to a rapid rise in the cryptocurrency.

The scenario begins with a massive shift of capital as investors are pivoting out of American assets and seeking new avenues for investment.

“[We] expect a massive shift of capital over the coming 18 months as investors rotate out of U.S. assets and into alternatives,” said Geoffrey Kendrick, head of digital asset research at Standard Chartered.

Furthermore, the bank anticipates a historical correlation between the rise in bond yields and surges in bitcoin.

“The implication is that if yields continue to rise as we anticipate, then Bitcoin could surge towards 120,000 dollars this quarter,” added Kendrick.

Moreover, the institution observes a growing accumulation of BTC by whales and sustained ETF flows.

Finally, the strategic reallocation by American investors plays a key role. They are increasingly moving away from the dollar and seeking assets such as equities, private equity, and crypto. This dynamic could trigger the next bullish wave in bitcoin as time is now on its side.

Having set this framework, let’s examine the concrete market indicators. Bitcoin jumped nearly 9% in seven days. It recently traded around 94,707 dollars.

This ascent reflects a renewed confidence. Last week, over 3.4 billion dollars flowed into crypto funds. And 93% of these flows targeted bitcoin exclusively.

Additionally, BTC’s history reveals consolidation phases after each strong rise. These sideways months often offer an ideal entry point.

Timing remains crucial. Experienced traders are now waiting for the next powerful impulse to carry bitcoin to even greater heights.

Standard Chartered warns that patience will pay off, and a decisive move could emerge by the summer.

Finally, a political factor is also at play. Speculations about a possible removal of American tariffs are nurturing hope for a fresh wind in the sails of bitcoin.

This prospect triggers renewed appetite for the asset and reinforces its status as an alternative value in the face of dollar depreciation.

In essence, several currents are converging to carry bitcoin to new peaks, setting the stage for a remarkable rally in the cryptocurrency market.
