Binance has announced the addition of Saga (SAGA) to its Launchpool platform, marking the 51st project to join the initiative. Users are invited to stake BNB or FDUSD to farm SAGA tokens for a limited period of four days, starting from April 5 to April 9. Binance Unveils Saga (SAGA) as Its 51st Launchpool Project, Empowering Developers with Chainlets for Infinite Scalability
Binance, the world-renowned cryptocurrency exchange, has announced Saga (SAGA) as its latest project on its Launchpool platform. This marks the 51st project to join the Binance Launchpool, an exclusive program that allows users to acquire tokens from promising blockchain startups.
Saga, a groundbreaking Layer 1 protocol, has garnered significant attention in the crypto industry for its novel approach to horizontal scalability. By leveraging "Chainlets," Saga enables developers to build applications with virtually limitless scalability, breaking down the barriers imposed by conventional blockchain architectures.
With a remarkable funding of $15 million and strategic partnerships with industry giants such as Polygon, Avalanche, Celestia, Marble, and Com2uS, Saga has positioned itself as a force to be reckoned with in the realm of blockchain development.
Introducing the SAGA Token: A Versatile Catalyst for the Saga Ecosystem
In an official announcement on April 4, Binance unveiled the details of the SAGA token, the native cryptocurrency of the Saga Protocol. Users will have the exclusive opportunity to farm SAGA tokens by staking their BNB and FDUSD in designated pools over a four-day period from April 5 to April 9.
Upon the conclusion of the farming event, Binance will proudly become the first exchange to list SAGA at approximately 14:00 (UTC) on April 9. The token will debut with five trading pairs: SAGA/BTC, SAGA/USDT, SAGA/BNB, SAGA/FDUSD, and SAGA/TRY, providing ample liquidity for traders.
With a total supply of 1,000,000,000 SAGA, a substantial 45,000,000 tokens (4.5% of the total supply) have been allocated for Binance Launchpool rewards. At the time of listing on Binance, the initial circulating supply of SAGA will be 90,000,000 (9% of the total supply).
The SAGA token serves a multitude of purposes within the Saga Protocol ecosystem. Developers can utilize SAGA to pay network validators for instantiating and maintaining their Chainlets, ensuring the seamless operation of their applications. Moreover, SAGA holders can engage in staking and governance activities, actively participating in the decision-making processes that shape the future of the protocol.
Eligibility and Participation in Binance Launchpool
Participation in the Binance Launchpool for SAGA is subject to certain eligibility criteria. Users must reside in jurisdictions that are not subject to restrictions and must have completed the necessary KYC (Know Your Customer) processes to verify their accounts.
It is important to note that users from certain prohibited countries, including the United States, Japan, Australia, Canada, New Zealand, and the Netherlands, will not be eligible to participate in farming SAGA tokens. Binance strictly adheres to regulatory compliance and only allows eligible users to participate in its Launchpool offerings.
By joining the Binance Launchpool for SAGA, users gain privileged access to the tokens of this promising blockchain project. Saga's innovative Chainlets technology holds immense potential to revolutionize the way applications are built and scaled on the blockchain, and the SAGA token is poised to play a crucial role in driving this transformation.
