Coinbase and Robinhood Grounded

Amidst the outage fallout, Robinhood continues to expand its tokenization initiative, now offering nearly 500 tokenized U.S. stocks and ETFs to European Union investors. This allows users to gain exposure to American markets through crypto, mirroring the prices of popular U.S. equities. While trading is currently confined within Robinhood's platform, future plans include enabling self-custody.

The concentration of internet infrastructure among a few major providers (Amazon, Microsoft, Google) creates systemic vulnerabilities.
