Those interested can already sign up here to get on the waitlist—although the timeline for the card’s release is not yet clear, especially in Italy, which is one of the countries supported in this first phase.

Essentially, this will be a debit card that will also come with benefits in terms of discounts on certain purchases. So, is another crypto card on the way?

In reality, there are quite a few crypto cards out there, some of which are already widely used in Italy and offered by major cryptocurrency exchanges.

However, this case is different: there are no exchanges involved, but rather Avalanche collaborating with Rain (which will rely on local banks depending on the jurisdiction) and allowing users to have cards through which they can directly spend the assets they hold on Avalanche.
