Avalanche, Rain과 협력하여 카드 출시

VISA 네트워크에서 USDC, wAVAX, sAVAX를 사용할 수 있는 카드입니다. 앱에서 직접 관리할 수 있고, 지갑에 연결되어 있으며, 가상 및 물리적 형식으로 모두 사용할 수 있는 카드가 될 것입니다.

Avalanche has launched its own card in collaboration with Rain. This card will allow users to spend USDC, wAVAX, and sAVAX on the VISA network. It will be a card that can be managed directly from an app, linked to a wallet, and available in both virtual and physical formats.

Those interested can already sign up here to get on the waitlist—although the timeline for the card’s release is not yet clear, especially in Italy, which is one of the countries supported in this first phase.

Essentially, this will be a debit card that will also come with benefits in terms of discounts on certain purchases. So, is another crypto card on the way?

In reality, there are quite a few crypto cards out there, some of which are already widely used in Italy and offered by major cryptocurrency exchanges.

However, this case is different: there are no exchanges involved, but rather Avalanche collaborating with Rain (which will rely on local banks depending on the jurisdiction) and allowing users to have cards through which they can directly spend the assets they hold on Avalanche.
