Aragon Revamps Its Foundation, Announces New Leadership Group That Includes Polygon Founder Sandeep Nailwal

Nov 01, 2024 at 11:18 pm

AO was once an arduous task that required dozens of experts to build and maintain the platform. Over the years, this has changed, and Aragaon has been at the forefront of this revolution. Aragon is now undergoing a revamp, announcing a new leadership group that includes Polygon founder Sandeep Nailwal.

Aragon Revamps Its Foundation, Announces New Leadership Group That Includes Polygon Founder Sandeep Nailwal

Aragaon, a decentralized autonomous organization (DAO) platform, has announced a new leadership group and the launch of the Aragon Foundation.

The foundation will be governed by a Steering Council, which will define the foundation's strategy, decide on development fund allocations, and guide builders deploying their applications on Aragon. The council will also focus on empowering developers to build blockchain infrastructure and applications for governance, keeping users true to the values of on-chain governance.

The council members include Sacha, head of research at Lido; Francesco, co-founder of Blockchain Lawyers Group; Adrian CV, co-founder of Steakhouse Finance and head of finance at Lido DAO; Paul, lecturer at University College Dublin; and Sandeep Nailwal, founder of Polygon.

Nailwal commented on his inclusion in the new council, saying he's proud to be a part of Aragon's future and its broader impact on the Ethereum ecosystem. Aragon and Polygon have been collaborating since 2016.

The other members also expressed their excitement about being a part of one of the most strategically important projects in the crypto space. Sacha, who heads research at Lido, hopes to work with like-minded people to help champion bringing Aragon to those within Ethereum, and to those less acquainted with the ecosystem.

Adrian CV, the Steakhouse Financial founder, described his inclusion in the council as "a fundamentally optimistic mission." He believes technology and its power is indifferent to whether people use it for good or evil, but its greatest potential to improve mankind can be realized if channeled to maintain individual sovereignty and improve collaboration.

Aragon also announced the launch of a three-member Administrative Council.
