How to check asset distribution on Gate.io? (Portfolio Analysis)

在Gate.io官网(www.gate.com)登录后,进入「Assets」→「Portfolio」,即可查看实时资产分布饼图,支持按现货/合约/质押筛选,并可导出CSV分析集中度与链上持仓。

Apr 11, 2026 at 11:20 am

Accessing Portfolio Distribution Dashboard

1. Log in to your Gate.io account via the official website www.gate.com or the verified mobile application.

2. Navigate to the Assets section located in the top navigation bar after successful authentication.

3. Click on the Portfolio tab—this interface displays real-time allocation across all supported assets including spot, margin, and futures positions.

4. Observe the pie chart visualization automatically generated based on USD-denominated valuations of each holding.

5. Hover over any segment to reveal exact percentage share, current price, 24-hour change, and total value in USDT.

Filtering by Asset Class and Network

1. Use the class filter dropdown to isolate holdings by category: Spot, Leverage, Futures, or Staking.

2. For tokens with multiple chain deployments—such as USDT or ETH—toggle the network selector to view distribution per blockchain (e.g., Solana Mainnet, Ethereum ERC-20, BSC).

3. Each network-specific balance is listed with its corresponding wallet address and confirmation status.

4. Assets showing “Pending” or “Unconfirmed” will appear grayed out and excluded from active portfolio weight calculations.

5. Click the expand icon next to any asset row to inspect sub-holdings across different accounts (e.g., isolated margin vs cross-margin).

Analyzing Concentration Metrics

1. Scroll down to the Risk Metrics panel beneath the main chart, where Top 3 Holdings % is displayed in bold green font.

2. This figure represents the combined USD-weighted share of your three largest positions—if it exceeds 68%

3. Below that, check the Asset Count metric indicating how many distinct tokens constitute your portfolio; values under 7 suggest high concentration risk.

4. The Volatility Weighted Allocation column shows adjusted percentages factoring in 30-day historical volatility—tokens like PEPE or BONK carry higher weights here than their nominal share implies.

5. A red warning icon appears beside any token whose 7-day price swing exceeds 45%, signaling elevated exposure.

Exporting and Cross-Referencing Data

1. Click the Export CSV button at the top-right corner of the Portfolio page to download a timestamped snapshot of all balances, valuations, and cost bases.

2. The exported file includes columns for acquisition date (if tracked), average entry price, unrealized PnL, and chain identifier.

3. Import this CSV into spreadsheet tools to compute custom ratios such as BTC/ETH dominance index or stablecoin ratio relative to volatile assets.

4. Match wallet addresses from the export against on-chain analytics platforms like Nansen or Arkham to verify whether holdings align with known smart money patterns.

5. Compare the “Last Updated” timestamp on Gate.io’s dashboard with blockchain explorer timestamps for final settlement confirmation.

FAQ Section

Q1: Does Gate.io include staked or locked assets in the portfolio distribution chart?Yes—assets held in Gate.io Staking, Dual Investment, or Launchpool are included in real time if they remain under Gate.io custody. Third-party staking contracts not managed through Gate.io interfaces are excluded.

Q2: Why does my SOL balance show zero in Portfolio but appear correctly in “My Assets”?This occurs when SOL is held exclusively in a Futures or Margin sub-account. The Portfolio dashboard aggregates only Spot and Unified Trading Account balances by default unless manually toggled.

Q3: Can I see historical portfolio distribution snapshots from previous dates?No—Gate.io does not store or display historical allocation charts. The dashboard reflects only the current state. Users must manually export CSV files at intervals to reconstruct timelines.

Q4: Are wrapped tokens like wBTC or wETH counted separately from their native counterparts in distribution analysis?Yes—they appear as independent line items. wBTC on Ethereum is treated differently from WBTC on BSC or Solana’s renBTC, even if backed by identical reserves.
