How to Purchase Bitcoin on Trust Wallet
1. Create a Trust Wallet Account
- Download the Trust Wallet app for iOS or Android.
- Create a new wallet by clicking on the "+" icon in the top right corner.
- Write down your 12-word recovery phrase and store it securely.
2. Locate Bitcoin in the Wallet
- Open Trust Wallet and tap on the "Receive" tab.
- Enter "Bitcoin" into the search bar.
- Select "Bitcoin" from the list of assets.
3. Generate a Bitcoin Address
- Tap on the "Receive" button.
- A QR code and corresponding Bitcoin address will be displayed.
4. Purchase Bitcoin from an Exchange
- Open a reputable cryptocurrency exchange, such as Coinbase or Binance.
- Create an account and complete the necessary KYC procedures.
- Once your account is verified, fund it using a supported payment method (e.g., bank transfer, credit card).
- Navigate to the "Buy" section of the exchange.
- Enter the amount of Bitcoin you wish to purchase.
- Select your desired payment method and follow the prompts to complete the transaction.
5. Send Bitcoin to Trust Wallet
- Copy the Bitcoin address generated in Trust Wallet.
- In your cryptocurrency exchange account, navigate to the "Withdraw" section.
- Enter the amount of Bitcoin you wish to send.
- Paste the Bitcoin address from Trust Wallet.
- Verify the transaction details and click "Confirm."
6. Check Your Balance
- Once the transaction has been processed (typically within a few minutes), your Bitcoin balance will be reflected in Trust Wallet.
