Metamask is a popular cryptocurrency wallet that is used to store, send, and receive cryptocurrencies. It supports a wide range of cryptocurrencies, including Ethereum, Bitcoin, and Litecoin. However, it does not currently support Binance Coin (BNB).
Can I Use Metamask to Store BNB?No, you cannot use Metamask to store BNB. Metamask only supports a limited number of cryptocurrencies, and BNB is not one of them. If you want to store BNB, you will need to use a different wallet, such as the Binance Chain Wallet or the Trust Wallet.
How Can I Use Metamask with BNB?Even though you cannot store BNB in Metamask, you can still use Metamask to interact with the Binance Chain. To do this, you will need to add the Binance Chain to your Metamask wallet. Once you have added the Binance Chain, you will be able to use Metamask to send and receive BNB, as well as interact with other Binance Chain applications.
How to Add the Binance Chain to Metamask- Open Metamask and click on the "Networks" tab.
- Click on the "Add Network" button.
Enter the following information into the fields:
- Network Name: Binance Chain
- New RPC URL: https://bsc-dataseed.binance.org/
- ChainID: 56
- Symbol: BNB
- Block Explorer URL: https://bscscan.com
- Click on the "Save" button.
- Open Metamask and select the Binance Chain network.
- Click on the "Send" or "Receive" button.
- Enter the recipient's address and the amount of BNB that you want to send or receive.
- Click on the "Send" or "Receive" button again.
- Open Metamask and select the Binance Chain network.
- Click on the "DApps" tab.
- Browse the list of Binance Chain applications and click on the one that you want to use.
- Click on the "Connect" button.
