Can MetaMask Receive USDT?
Yes, MetaMask can receive USDT. Here are the steps on how to do it:
- Create a MetaMask wallet. If you don't already have a MetaMask wallet, you can create one by going to the MetaMask website and clicking on the "Create a Wallet" button.
Add the Tether (USDT) network to your MetaMask wallet. To do this, click on the "Settings" tab in MetaMask and then select the "Networks" tab. Then, click on the "Add Network" button and enter the following information:
- Network Name: Tether (USDT)
- New RPC URL: https://rpc.tether.to/
- Chain ID: 31
- Symbol: USDT
- Block Explorer URL: https://tetherscan.io/
- Send USDT to your MetaMask wallet. Once you have added the Tether (USDT) network to your MetaMask wallet, you can send USDT to your wallet from another wallet or exchange. To do this, simply copy your MetaMask wallet address and then send USDT to that address.
- View your USDT balance in MetaMask. Once you have sent USDT to your MetaMask wallet, you can view your balance by clicking on the "Assets" tab in MetaMask. Your USDT balance will be displayed in the "Tokens" section.
Note: MetaMask only supports the ERC-20 version of USDT. If you are sending USDT from a different wallet or exchange, make sure that you are sending the ERC-20 version of USDT.
