Tutorial: Deleting a MetaMask AccountStep 1: Export Your Account

Open the MetaMask extension or app on your device.
Click on the main menu (three horizontal lines) in the top-right corner.
Select Settings.
Go to Security & Privacy.
Click on Download Seed Phrase.
Confirm your password.
Note down or save your 12-word seed phrase in a secure location.

Step 2: Uninstall MetaMaskFor Chrome Extension:

Go to the Extensions page in your Chrome browser.
Locate the MetaMask extension.
Click on the Remove button.

For Mobile App:

Go to the App Store or Google Play Store.
Search for MetaMask and tap on it.
Click on the Uninstall button.

Step 3: Delete Account Data

Press Windows Key + R to open the Run command.
Type in %appdata% and hit Enter.
Navigate to the MetaMask folder.
Delete the entire MetaMask folder.

Step 4: Create a New MetaMask Account

Reinstall the MetaMask extension or app.
Create a new wallet by following the on-screen instructions.
Use your saved seed phrase to restore your old account (optional).

Step 5: Transfer Funds (Optional)

If you need to transfer your funds to the new account:

Open the old MetaMask account.
Click on the Send button.
Enter the address of the new MetaMask account.
Specify the amount you want to send.
Click on Confirm.

Congratulations! You have now successfully deleted your MetaMask account.
