Accessing the Activity Log on UniScan

1. Open your preferred web browser and navigate to the official UniScan website.2. Connect your wallet using the wallet connector button located in the top-right corner of the interface.3. Ensure the correct network is selected—Ethereum, BSC, Polygon, or another supported chain—matching where your transaction occurred.4. Click on the “Activity” tab situated in the main navigation bar.5. The system will load your on-chain transaction history associated with the connected wallet address.

Understanding Transaction Entries

1. Each row displays a timestamp, transaction hash (txHash), network name, status icon (confirmed/pending/failed), and action type (e.g., Swap, Approve, Transfer).2. Hovering over the txHash reveals a tooltip with a shortened version; clicking it opens the full hash in a new tab on the respective blockchain explorer.3. Status indicators use color coding: green for confirmed, yellow for pending, red for reverted or failed.4. The “From” and “To” columns show addresses involved—contract addresses are labeled with verified icons when applicable.5. Token transfers include symbol, amount, and direction (in/out), while contract interactions display decoded function names when available.

Filtering and Searching Transactions

1. Use the filter dropdown to narrow results by category: All, Transfers, Swaps, Approvals, Staking, or NFTs.2. Toggle the time-range selector to view transactions from Today, Last 7 Days, Last 30 Days, or Custom Range.3. Enter a partial txHash, token symbol, or contract address into the search bar to locate specific entries.4. Click the “Export CSV” button to download a local copy containing timestamp, hash, method, from, to, value, and gas used.5. Sorting is enabled by clicking any column header—ascending/descending toggles with each click.

Verifying Transaction Details On-Chain

1. Click any transaction hash to open its full detail panel, showing raw input data, decoded parameters, and internal calls.2. The “View on Explorer” link launches Etherscan, BscScan, or equivalent for that chain with preloaded context.3. Gas usage, effective gas price, and block number are displayed alongside confirmation count.4. For token transfers, UniScan parses ERC-20 and ERC-721 standards to display sender, recipient, token ID (if NFT), and quantity.5. If the transaction involves a smart contract interaction, the decoded ABI method name appears above the input fields, aiding interpretation without manual decoding.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q1. Why does my recent transaction not appear in UniScan’s Activity Log?A1. It may still be pending on-chain, or the network you’re viewing doesn’t match where the transaction was sent. Confirm your selected chain and refresh the page after waiting 15–30 seconds.

Q2. Can I see transactions from a wallet I haven’t connected?A2. Yes—paste any public wallet address into the search bar at the top of the Activity page to view its public on-chain history, provided it’s on a supported network.

Q3. Are internal transactions or cross-chain bridge actions visible in the Activity Log?A3. Internal transactions triggered by contract logic appear only if the network’s explorer supports them and UniScan has integrated that data layer. Cross-chain bridge events show only on the source and destination chains separately—not as unified flow.

Q4. Does UniScan store my private keys or transaction metadata beyond what’s publicly available on-chain?A4. No—UniScan never accesses or stores private keys. All transaction data shown is fetched directly from public node APIs and blockchain indexes. No user-specific data is retained server-side after session expiry.
