How to Add Zora Network to MetaMask

Introduction:

Zora is a marketplace for non-fungible tokens (NFTs) built on the Ethereum blockchain. To interact with the Zora marketplace, you need to add the Zora network to your MetaMask wallet. This will allow you to view, buy, and sell NFTs on the Zora platform.

Step 1: Install MetaMask

If you don't already have MetaMask installed, you can download it from their website. MetaMask is available as a browser extension for Chrome, Firefox, Edge, and Brave.

Step 2: Create a MetaMask Wallet

Once you have installed MetaMask, you need to create a new wallet. You will be asked to set a password and back up your recovery phrase. Keep your recovery phrase safe, as it is the only way to recover your wallet if you lose your password.

Step 3: Add Custom RPC

To add the Zora network to MetaMask, you need to click on the "Add Network" button in the Settings menu. This will open a new window where you can enter the following information:

Network Name: Zora
New RPC URL: https://mainnet.zora.io/rpc
Chain ID: 421611
Currency Symbol: ZORA
Block Explorer URL: https://explorer.zora.io/

Click the "Save" button to add the Zora network to MetaMask.

Step 4: Switch to Zora Network

To switch to the Zora network, click on the dropdown menu in the top right corner of MetaMask and select "Zora". You are now connected to the Zora network and can interact with the Zora marketplace.

Supported Tokens: The Zora marketplace supports all ERC-20 tokens. You can buy and sell NFTs using ETH, DAI, or any other supported token.
Trading Fees: Zora charges a 2.5% trading fee on all transactions. This fee is paid by the seller and is used to fund the development of the platform.
NFT Standards: Zora supports the ERC-721 and ERC-1155 NFT standards. This means that you can create and trade NFTs that represent both unique and fungible items.
