How to add the Oasis Network Mainnet (ROSE) to MetaMask.
By adding the Oasis Mainnet (ROSE) to your MetaMask wallet, you can interact with decentralized applications built on the Oasis Network and manage your ROSE tokens.

How to Add the Oasis Network Mainnet (ROSE) to MetaMask
1. Install MetaMask
- Begin by downloading and installing the MetaMask browser extension or mobile app. Create a new wallet or import an existing one.
- Ensure you have the most updated version of MetaMask installed for optimal compatibility.
2. Configure Network Settings
- Open MetaMask and click on the "Ethereum Mainnet" option in the top right corner.
- A dropdown menu will appear, select "Add Network".
Enter the following details:
- Network Name: Oasis Mainnet
- New RPC URL: https://mainnet.oasis.dev
- Chain ID: 40
- Currency Symbol: ROSE
- Block Explorer URL: https://explorer.oasisprotocol.org
- Click "Save" to add the Oasis Mainnet to MetaMask.
3. Add ROSE Tokens
- You can now add ROSE tokens to your MetaMask wallet. Click on the "Import Tokens" button in MetaMask.
Select "Custom Token" and enter the following details:
- Token Address: 0x9E60A37237Cf1281C341E26ED687d2b3e47DF6c0
- Token Symbol: ROSE
- Decimals: 18
- Click "Add Custom Token" to import ROSE tokens into your wallet.
4. Funding Your Wallet (Optional)
- If you don't have any ROSE tokens in your wallet, you can purchase them from an exchange like Binance or Coinbase.
- Once you've purchased ROSE, withdraw them to your MetaMask wallet using the wallet address displayed in the "Receive" tab.
- Wait for the tokens to arrive in your wallet, which can take several minutes depending on network conditions.
5. Interacting with Oasis DApps
- With ROSE tokens in your wallet, you can now interact with decentralized applications (DApps) built on the Oasis Network.
- Visit the Oasis ecosystem page to explore various DApps, such as the Oasis Emerald Wallet, RoseBridge, and the Oasis Discord Staking Bot.
- Click the "Connect" or "Sign In" button on the DApp's website and select your MetaMask account to connect your wallet and manage your ROSE tokens.
- Follow the instructions provided by the DApp to deposit, stake, or use ROSE tokens within their platform.
