How to Add Lisk Mainnet (LSK) to MetaMask

Its native token, LSK, is used for securing the network and paying transaction fees. To interact with Lisk dApps and manage LSK tokens, it is essential to add Lisk Mainnet to your MetaMask wallet. Here's a comprehensive guide on how to do that:

Prerequisites

• A MetaMask wallet installed and set up.

Steps

1. Install the Metamask Chrome Extension

• Go to the official MetaMask website at https://metamask.io/.
• Click on "Get Chrome Extension" button.
• Follow the on-screen instructions to install the extension.

2. Create a MetaMask Wallet

• Once you have installed the extension, click on the MetaMask icon in your browser toolbar.
• Select "Create a Wallet".
• Create a strong password and click "Create".
• Store the 12-word secret recovery phrase securely.

3. Add Lisk Custom RPC Settings

• Click on MetaMask icon in your browser toolbar and select "Settings"
• Navigate to the "Networks" tab.
• Click on "Add Network".

• Enter the following details:

  • Network Name: Lisk Mainnet
  • New RPC URL: https://rpc.lisk.com
  • Chain ID: 107
  • Currency Symbol: LSK
  • Block Explorer UR: https://explorer.lisk.io/
• Click "Save".

4. Import LSK Tokens

• If you already have LSK tokens, you can import them into your MetaMask wallet.
• Click on "Import Tokens" button in the MetaMask interface.
• Select "Custom Token".

• Enter the following details:

  • Token Contract Address: 64c02568a4270e9e51ab92ac7f719b4fe9070e5a7d964db0a4d63a900d5ce510
  • Token Symbol: LSK
  • Token Decimal: 8
• Click "Add Custom Token".

5. Send LSK Tokens

• To send LSK tokens, click on the "Send" button in the MetaMask interface.
• Enter the recipient's wallet address and the amount of LSK you want to send.
• Click "Next" and then "Confirm" to complete the transaction.

6. Swap LSK Tokens
