How to Trade DOGE Futures on MEXC? How to Open a DOGEcoin Contract
MEXC已上线DOGE/USDT永续合约,支持1–75倍杠杆、隔离/交叉保证金模式,需完成Level 2 KYC;实时资金费率、标记价格及持仓监控完备,可无限期持有(2026年8月14日)。

Accessing the DOGE Futures Market on MEXC
1. Log into your MEXC account using verified credentials and ensure two-factor authentication is active for security.
2. Navigate to the “Derivatives” section from the main navigation bar, then select “USDT-Margined Futures”.
3. Use the search bar to locate “DOGE/USDT” — the perpetual futures contract denominated in USDT.
4. Click on the DOGE/USDT trading pair to load the order book, chart interface, and position management panel.
5. Confirm that the trading interface displays real-time funding rate, mark price, index price, and open interest data before proceeding.
Setting Up Margin and Leverage
1. Locate the leverage selector near the order entry zone; default is often 10x but can be adjusted between 1x and 75x.
2. Choose isolated or cross margin mode depending on risk tolerance — isolated limits loss to the allocated position margin, while cross uses total wallet balance.
3. Enter the desired contract size in DOGE units or equivalent USDT value; the system auto-calculates required margin based on selected leverage.
4. Review liquidation price preview shown dynamically as you adjust position size or leverage — this reflects the price level at which the position would be forcibly closed.
5. Ensure available margin exceeds the initial margin requirement displayed; insufficient balance triggers a “Margin Insufficient” warning.
Placing a Long or Short Contract Order
1. Select “Market”, “Limit”, “Stop-Market”, or “Take-Profit” order type based on execution priority and risk control needs.
2. For a long position, input quantity and click “Buy” — the platform debits initial margin and opens exposure to upward DOGE price movement.
3. For a short position, input quantity and click “Sell” — the system locks margin and initiates inverse exposure calibrated against DOGE/USDT index pricing.
4. Verify the “Position” tab updates immediately with direction, entry price, size, leverage, and unrealized PnL after order execution.
5. Monitor the “Open Orders” and “Order History” tabs to track pending triggers, fills, cancellations, and executed trades.
Managing Active DOGE Positions
1. Adjust stop-loss or take-profit levels directly from the position card using the “Edit TP/SL” function without closing the trade.
2. Partially close positions by entering reduced quantity in the “Close Position” field and confirming with “Close” — remaining size stays active.
3. Add to existing positions by placing new orders in the same direction; average entry price recalculates automatically.
4. View real-time funding fee accruals under the position details — fees are exchanged every 8 hours and may be positive or negative depending on rate sign.
5. Check margin ratio and maintenance margin threshold constantly; falling below 100% triggers margin call warnings and potential auto-deleveraging.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Is KYC mandatory to trade DOGE futures on MEXC?Yes. Level 2 KYC verification is required to access derivatives trading, including DOGE/USDT perpetual contracts.
Q: What happens if my DOGE futures position hits liquidation? The system closes the position automatically at the bankruptcy price, and any remaining margin is forfeited to the insurance fund.
Q: Can I hold a DOGE perpetual contract indefinitely?Yes, provided sufficient margin is maintained and no forced liquidation occurs; funding payments occur every 8 hours but do not impose expiry.
Q: Why does the mark price differ from the last traded price? The mark price uses a composite index of major spot exchanges to prevent manipulation; it determines liquidation and funding calculations, not just exchange order book depth.
