Why can’t I set the password on Dubai OKX

Only individual accounts with fully verified KYC Level 2 status and active 2FA can set passwords on Dubai OKX.

Why Can't I Set a Password on Dubai OKX?1. Account Type:

Only individual users can set passwords on Dubai OKX. Corporate accounts cannot set passwords.

2. Verification Status:

Your account must be fully verified (KYC Level 2) to set a password.

3. Password Requirements:

Minimum 8 characters long
Must contain uppercase and lowercase letters, numbers, and a special character (!@#$%^&*)
Cannot contain spaces or excessive special characters

4. Account Phone Number:

If you have not yet added your phone number to your account, you will not be able to set a password.

5. Security Concerns:

For security reasons, OKX does not allow passwords to be set on accounts created through social media or third-party platforms (e.g., Google, Facebook).

6. Mobile App Requirement:

Setting a password on Dubai OKX requires access to the OKX Mobile App. If you do not have the app installed, you will not be able to complete the process.

7. Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) Active:

2FA should be enabled on your account to ensure additional security. If 2FA is not active, you will not be able to set a password.

8. Restricted Password Setting:

Dubai OKX may impose restrictions on password setting during certain maintenance or security updates.

9. System Error:

In rare cases, there may be a technical issue preventing you from setting a password. If this occurs, please contact OKX customer support for assistance.
