- Create an OKX Account
If you don't already have an OKX account, the first step is to create one. OKX has a user-friendly interface that's easy to navigate. You must register with a valid email address and strong password. For enhanced security, you can also complete the two-factor authentication setup.
- Deposit Your Crypto
In order to sell coins on OKX, you must first deposit funds into your account. OKX uses advanced encryption protocols to maintain high-security standards for your funds. To deposit crypto, select “Assets” from your account's dashboard and then click “Deposit”. Select the coin you want to deposit, generate an address, and transfer coins from a crypto wallet to the provided address. Here are the methods to do it.
- Credit/Debit Card Purchase: OKX allows you to conveniently purchase cryptocurrencies with a credit or debit card. This is the easiest option if you don't already have any crypto and want to start selling right away.
- External Wallet: If you hold crypto coins in a wallet, you can transfer them to your OKX account by selecting the ‘Deposit’ option. OKX supports various cryptocurrencies, including Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), and USDT. Ensure you select the appropriate network (e.g., ERC-20) for your deposit to avoid any issues.

- Find the Coin You Want to Sell

- Sell

Note for Market Order: A market order will be executed immediately at the current market price.

- Complete the Sale
Once you have placed the order, it will be executed by OKX, and funds will be credited to your account. The time taken for order execution depends on market conditions and order type. Once your order is completed, you can withdraw your funds to your bank account or use them to purchase other cryptocurrencies.
- Withdraw Your Money
Once you have sold your coins and they appear in your fiat wallet, you can withdraw them to your bank account.
- Select “Assets” from your account's dashboard and then choose “Withdraw”.
- Input the amount you wish to withdraw.
- Input the supporting bank account details where you want to receive the funds.
- Hit the ‘Confirm’ Button.
OKX will process your withdrawal request, and the funds will be transferred to your bank account within 1-3 business days.
