KuCoin Exchange app novice coin buying graphic tutorial

Step 1: Download the KuCoin App

  • Go to the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
  • Search for "KuCoin" and download the app.

Step 2: Create an Account

  • Open the KuCoin app.
  • Tap "Sign Up" and follow the instructions to create an account.

Step 3: Enable 2-Factor Authentication (Recommended)

  • Go to the "Security Center" in the app.
  • Enable Google Authenticator or SMS verification for added security.

Step 4: Fund Your Account

  • Tap "Assets" and then "Deposit".
  • Select the currency you want to deposit (USDT or ETH are recommended).
  • Follow the instructions to send crypto from your wallet or exchange.

Step 5: Find the Coin You Want to Buy

  • Tap the "Markets" icon at the bottom of the app.
  • Search for the coin you want to buy (e.g., BTC, ETH, or BNB).

Step 6: Place a Buy Order

  • Tap "Spot Trading".
  • Enter the amount of the coin you want to buy.
  • Choose the order type (Limit Order or Market Order).
  • Review the order details and tap "Buy".

Step 7: Wait for the Order to Fill

  • Your order will be added to the order book.
  • Wait until there is a match and the order fills.

Step 8: Check Your Balance

  • Once the order fills, the coins you bought will be deposited into your KuCoin account.
  • Check your balance in the "Assets" tab.

Tips:

  • Use a Limit Order to specify a specific price at which you want to buy the coin.
  • Set a stop-loss order to protect your profits from sudden drops in the market.
  • Store your coins securely in a hardware wallet or a reputable exchange.
