How to Close a Spot Trade on MEXC

Step 1: Log in to your MEXC account.

  • Go to the MEXC website or mobile app and enter your login credentials.

Step 2: Navigate to the Spot Trading page.

  • Click on "Trade" on the top menu bar.
  • Select "Spot Trading" from the drop-down menu.

Step 3: Find the open position you want to close.

  • On the Spot Trading page, click on "Open Orders."
  • Find the open position you want to close from the list.

Step 4: Cancel the open order.

  • Click on "Cancel" for the order you want to close.
  • Confirm the cancellation in the pop-up window.

Step 5: Place a new order to close your position.

  • Once the open order is canceled, click on "Buy" or "Sell" as appropriate to close your position.
  • Enter the desired quantity and price.
  • Click on "Place Order."

Step 6: Check the Trade History.

  • After you place the new order, go to "Trade History."
  • Look for the closed position in the list.

Note:

  • When you close a spot trade, you are selling or buying an equal amount of the asset to close the open position.
  • Ensure you have sufficient funds in your account to cover the closing transaction.
  • You can also use a Stop Limit order to automatically close your position if the market price reaches a certain level.
