How to Get a Bitget API Key

Step 1: Create a Bitget Account

  • Visit the Bitget website and click "Sign Up" in the top right corner.
  • Enter your email address, create a password, and agree to the terms of service.
  • Complete the KYC (Know Your Customer) verification process by providing your personal information and identity documents.

Step 2: Navigate to API Management

  • Once your account is verified, log in to Bitget.
  • Hover over "Account" in the top right menu and select "API Management."

Step 3: Create a New API Key

  • Click the "Create New API Key" button.
  • Enter a Label for your API key.
  • Select the API permissions you want to grant.

Step 4: Configure API Permissions

  • For most use cases, you will want to select the "Trading" permission.
  • Under "Trading," enable the following permissions:

    • Order: Create/Cancel/Query
    • Balance: Query
    • OrderBook: Query
    • Place order immediately

Step 5: Generate and Access API Key
