How to use Gate.io NFT Magic Box? (NFT Marketplace)
Gate.io’s NFT Magic Box lets users browse, mint, and trade NFTs seamlessly—no gas fees for minting, free listings, 2% commission on sales, and cross-chain import support.
Apr 20, 2026 at 10:20 am
Accessing the NFT Magic Box Interface
1. Log in to your Gate.io account via the official website or mobile application.
2. Navigate to the top navigation bar and locate the NFT section—click to enter the Magic Box interface directly.
3. No separate wallet connection is required for basic browsing; users can view collections, creators, and trending items without additional setup.
4. For actions such as minting or purchasing, users must ensure their Gate.io account has completed KYC Level 1 verification.
5. The interface supports both desktop and mobile views, with responsive layout adjustments ensuring consistent usability across devices.
Minting NFTs on the Pioneer Creation Platform
1. Click the “I Want to Create” button on any creator profile or from the homepage banner.
2. Upload digital media files including images (JPG, PNG), audio (MP3, WAV), video (MP4), or 3D models (GLB).
3. Fill in metadata fields: title, description, collection name, royalty percentage (up to 10%), and optional attributes.
4. Confirm submission—no gas fee or platform charge is applied at this stage.
5. Wait for automated content review; approval typically occurs within 2–6 hours, after which the NFT appears publicly searchable.
Trading on the Auction Trading Platform
1. Browse categories such as Art, Music, Domain Names, Virtual Worlds, Trading Cards, Collectibles, and Sports using the left-side filter panel.
2. Select an item to view full details including ownership history, current bids, floor price, and listing type (fixed-price or auction).
3. For fixed-price purchases, click Buy Now and confirm using available USDT, GT, or stablecoin balances in your Gate.io spot wallet.
4. For auctions, place a bid by entering amount and confirming transaction; real-time bid updates appear without delay.
5. Winning bidders receive NFTs instantly in their Gate.io NFT wallet; sellers receive proceeds minus a 2% platform commission allocated to the Gate.io NFT Art Fund.
Managing Cross-Platform NFT Assets
1. Users may import NFTs from external blockchains including Ethereum, BSC, Polygon, and GateChain using the Import NFT function under Wallet → NFT Assets.
2. Each imported NFT undergoes on-chain validation before appearing in the user’s portfolio.
3. Imported assets become eligible for listing on the Auction Trading Platform immediately after confirmation.
4. Ownership transfers occur off-chain initially but are fully backed by verifiable on-chain records upon request.
5. No withdrawal restrictions apply—users retain full control and may export NFTs to compatible external wallets at any time.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Can I mint NFTs without holding any cryptocurrency?A: Yes. The Pioneer Creation Platform does not require gas fees or token balances for minting. Only KYC verification is mandatory.
Q: Is there a limit to how many NFTs I can list simultaneously?A: No hard cap exists. Users may list unlimited NFTs provided each passes content review and complies with platform guidelines.
Q: Do I need to pay to list an NFT for auction?A: Listing itself is free. A 2% commission applies only upon successful sale, deducted automatically from final proceeds.
Q: Are royalties enforced on secondary sales?A: Royalties set during minting are honored only on Gate.io’s Auction Trading Platform. External marketplaces may not respect them due to differing standards.
