Litentry How to withdraw LIT coins
To withdraw LIT coins, connect a Polkadot.js wallet to the Litentry network, ensure sufficient DOT for fees, navigate to the withdrawal tab, and send funds to a destination address.
Dec 26, 2024 at 02:21 am

Key Points:
- Set up a Polkadot.js wallet
- Connect to the Litentry network
- Make sure you have enough DOT for fees
- Withdraw LIT coins from your account
- Send LIT coins to an exchange
Steps:
1. Set up a Polkadot.js wallet:
A Polkadot.js wallet is a software application that allows you to interact with the Polkadot blockchain and manage your crypto assets. To set up a Polkadot.js wallet, go to the Polkadot.js website and click on the "Download" button. Select the version of the wallet that is compatible with your operating system and install it.
Once the wallet is installed, create a new account. You will need to provide a password and a mnemonic phrase. The mnemonic phrase is a set of 12 words that will allow you to recover your account if you lose your password. Be sure to write down your mnemonic phrase and store it in a safe place.
2. Connect to the Litentry network:
Once you have created a Polkadot.js wallet, you need to connect it to the Litentry network. To do this, click on the "Networks" tab in the wallet and select "Add network." Enter the following information:
- Name: Litentry
- Endpoint: wss://node.litentry.io/ws
- Chain ID: 66
Click on the "Save" button and the Litentry network will be added to your wallet.
3. Make sure you have enough DOT for fees:
All transactions on the Polkadot blockchain require a small fee to be paid in DOT. Make sure you have enough DOT in your wallet to cover the transaction fee. You can purchase DOT from an exchange or by staking your LIT coins.
4. Withdraw LIT coins from your account:
To withdraw LIT coins from your Litentry account, click on the "Accounts" tab in the wallet and select your account. Click on the "Withdraw" button and enter the amount of LIT coins you want to withdraw. Select the destination address for your LIT coins and click on the "Submit" button.
5. Send LIT coins to an exchange:
Once you have withdrawn your LIT coins from your Litentry account, you can send them to an exchange to sell or trade them. To do this, create an account on an exchange and deposit your LIT coins into your account. You can then sell or trade your LIT coins for other cryptocurrencies or fiat currencies.
