Now, he presents an interesting possibility of an even greater surge for BTC, driven by a critical upswing following the completion of Mt Gox’s pending Bitcoin repayment to creditors.

One interesting aspect of the entire scenario is Mt Gox’s upcoming Bitcoin redistribution. According to Lee, this move could potentially mark the beginning of a bear assault on Bitcoin’s price. Earlier this year, in June, Mt Gox announced that they will be initiating their repayment plans, valued at a staggering $9 billion, in BTC and Bitcoin Cash (BCH) this July. The battered exchange, which was fraudulently hacked in 2014, is set to refund and compensate their creditors through this Bitcoin redistribution.

Despite a “negative June” that saw the asset underperform significantly, Martinez anticipates a July resurgence, envisioning an average return of 7.98% and a potential price surge to $63,200 or even $63,800. As new strategies emerge and the dust settles, Bitcoin’s bullish prospects ensure that the adventure continues, revealing new twists at every turn.
