During a recent appearance on the Rug Radio podcast, Cuban likened meme coin trading to a game of “musical chairs” where participants gamble. Cuban noted that meme coins may have strong communities but lack staying power.

The investor who buys the overvalued asset can then repeat the process by finding another person who will cough up even more money for the asset based on the same assumption that they will be able to sell the asset at a profit to yet another person willing to pay more.

So, Is Dogecoin Also A Rug Pull?

Despite stating that all meme coins were rug pulls, Cuban has repeatedly voiced strong support for Dogecoin, the top doggy-themed meme coin. Earlier this year, the renowned billionaire investor disclosed that the Dallas Mavericks, the NBA team he previously owned, still accepts Dogecoin as a payment method for merchandise purchases.
