India-Pakistan border tension: Panic grips residents of Punjab's Amritsar district after explosions and flashes of light illuminating the skyline

Panic gripped residents of Punjab's border district of Amritsar in the wee hours of Thursday after they heard explosions and saw flashes of light illuminating the skyline and a power shutdown amid the escalating tension between India and Pakistan following 'Op Sindoor' launched by Indian armed forces targeting terror camps in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied-Kashmir (PoK) on Wednesday.

The villagers held that there was panic all around as amid the explosions, a part of a missile fell in village Jethuwal around 1.30 am following which they informed the police.
