Crypto startup Worldcoin (WLD) has hit the ground running today, notching a staggering 24% price surge. This hot move appears closely tied to a major $135 million investment from venture capital giants Andreessen Horowitz (a16z) and Bain Capital Crypto.

The price spike and investment were announced in a press statement by the World Foundation, the non-profit that launched Worldcoin in 2020.
