This means that the social media platform is forging ahead with its plans to launch its payment service, with an update featuring the payments function possibly being made public later this year.

Since then, X has acquired money-transmitting licenses in various states in the United States as part of its plan to launch the payment service.

However, a web URL (/i/payments/verify-payment-method) confirms that several payment methods will be available, of which Dogecoin could be among them.
