Shiba Inu’s pseudonymous lead developer, Shytoshi Kusama, has unveiled an ambitious plan to establish a “Strategic Hub for Innovation and Blockchain” (S.H.I.B.) in a US city. This initiative, inspired by reports that President-elect Donald Trump may create up to ten “freedom cities” on federal land, aims to transform the US into a global hub for blockchain technology and sustainable development.

According to Kusama's proposal, the S.H.I.B. initiative would receive a substantial budget of $2.35 billion over five to ten years. This investment would be allocated toward various programs and initiatives designed to leverage blockchain's potential for economic growth, job creation, and technological advancement.

Within five years, the project could create 20,000 jobs while adding $2 billion annually to the economy. By this stage, essential facilities and infrastructure would also be in place.
