Rumors about a BLUM token airdrop have surfaced online, but there is no official announcement yet. Some sources claim the airdrop began in June, but they are likely referring to Blum points, an in-game currency. These Blum points will be converted into BLUM tokens during the airdrop.

However, the team has not announced a date for the airdrop yet. Rumors about a possible launch of the Blum token in early September or October also lack any confirmation from the Blum team.

The only official mention of the BLUM token on Blum’s social media is a warning about potential scams, stating:

“No, there’s no Blum token nor NFT yet. We’ll announce it officially, if anything.”

The team has repeatedly reiterated this statement on the official X account, advising users to avoid falling for fake token offers.

Recently, Blum launched its first-ever DOGS airdrop as part of the DOGS Quest event. This airdrop allows users to earn DOGS tokens by participating in various tasks, and the rewards are based on their activity level within Blum.

With the introduction of the first Blum drop for DOGS, the team again cautioned users not to fall for any Blum airdrop or token.

Blum Points May Turn to Token….But When?

Blum

Blum is a decentralized cryptocurrency exchange that operates as a Telegram mini app. It allows users to trade meme coins and other cryptocurrencies within the Telegram messenger. Since its launch, many Blum users have been actively collecting Blum Points (BPs) by completing tasks and using the exchange regularly.

When the app launched in April, an official blog post hinted that BPs could be linked to a future BLUM token. The post stated:

“Points are gonna be the real deal inside the Blum ecosystem. You can also trade ’em for boosts and other cool stuff in the future. So, we haven’t dropped the official info on the token yet, but you might’ve heard some whispers!”

Blum’s official statements—specifically the word “yet”—have led many to believe that the launch of the Blum token is just a matter of time. However, in reality, there is no Blum token launch or airdrop happening.
