A Manhattan jury found former US President Donald Trump guilty on 34 felony counts in his hush money trial on Monday.

The verdict came after a two-week trial in which prosecutors accused Trump of falsifying business records and concealing documents relating to hush money paid to adult entertainment star Stormy Daniels.

The charges stem from an investigation by the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office into Trump’s dealings with Daniels, who was paid $130,000 by Trump’s former lawyer, Michael Cohen, in the lead-up to the 2016 presidential election.
