There's also a chance for some snow at higher elevations early next week in other parts of the state. The higher terrain of the Tug Hill plateau, the upper peaks of the Catskills and the tallest hills along the Southern Tier are the most likely spots for some wet flakes.

Meteorologists aren't completely sold on the snow idea, but it's their job to point out the possibilities.
